Father’s Day in the Bleasdale Booths Shop

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a Pop-Up Father’s Day Shop, where our pupils enjoyed the chance to pick out thoughtful gifts for their dads at Bleasdale Booths! With money in hand and smiles on their faces, our young shoppers thoughtfully chose presents to take home—making special memories in the run-up to Father’s Day.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Helen, one of our incredible Teaching Assistants, for planning this wonderful event and generously giving her own time to bring it all together—your hard work and kindness truly made a difference!

Paralympian Visit

Last week, we had the honour of welcoming Ayaz Bhuta, a remarkable Paralympian and inspirational speaker, to our school. His visit left a lasting impression on both pupils and staff alike, as he shared his incredible journey of resilience, determination, and achievement on the world stage.

Through engaging stories and heartfelt reflections, Ayaz encouraged our pupils to embrace challenges, celebrate differences and believe in their own potential.

We are truly grateful to Ayaz for taking the time to visit us at Bleasdale School.

A Staff Thank you

A heartfelt thank you to Karen, our dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), for organising an outstanding NHS Encounter Day. Her meticulous planning and passion for creating meaningful learning opportunities resulted in an unforgettable experience for our pupils.

The day was filled with engaging activities and inspiring insights into the vital roles within the NHS, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm across the school. Pupils had the chance to explore real-world healthcare scenarios and interact with the professionals.

Karen’s commitment to enriching our curriculum through immersive and purposeful events like this is truly commendable. Thank you for making such a powerful impact!

Evidence for Learning (EfL)

Last week, our amazing staff uploaded an impressive 161 pieces of evidence to the Evidence for Learning app, showcasing the remarkable progress and daily accomplishments of our pupils. These updates provide families with a valuable window into school life and the learning that happens each day.
