Staff Training
Last week, our staff engaged in comprehensive training through the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) Programme—an innovative, mentor-supported initiative aimed at whole-school improvement. The OPAL Programme empowers schools to strategically and sustainably enhance the quality of play by addressing every critical area of planning and provision. This training marks an important step in our commitment to fostering enriching, inclusive, and high-quality play experiences for all children.
Interviews
Last week, we conducted interviews for several Teaching Assistant positions as part of our ongoing expansion. We’re delighted to share that offers have been made to several exceptional candidates who will be wonderful additions to our team.
As our school continues to grow, we are still recruiting for additional roles across various areas. If you know someone who would be a great fit, please encourage them to visit the vacancies page on our website for more information:

Evidence for Learning (EfL)
Last week, our amazing staff uploaded an incredible 165 pieces of evidence to the Evidence for Learning app, showcasing the wonderful progress and achievements of our pupils. These snapshots give families a special insight into the daily learning journey at school.
We’d love for parents and carers to get involved too! Share your own observations from home through the app or by speaking with your child’s class teacher. Together, we can build an even stronger home–school connection.
Thank you to our fantastic staff and supportive families—let’s keep celebrating every success!
A New Reading Display!
A huge shout-out goes to Molly, one of our dedicated teachers, who thoughtfully created a vibrant and engaging reading display. Her creativity and commitment have transformed the space into an inspiring corner that celebrates the joy of reading and encourages our pupils to dive into new stories and explore the world through books. Displays like this play a key role in fostering a love for literacy and creating a warm, stimulating learning environment.
Thank you, Molly, for going above and beyond to spark curiosity and imagination in our learners!
Bleasdale Booths Shop: Learning Through Enterprise
Since the opening of our Bleasdale Booths shop, students have embraced the exciting opportunity to design and create handcrafted items to sell. Not only does this initiative encourage creativity and practical skills, but it also teaches valuable lessons in enterprise, teamwork, and financial literacy.
All profits from items sold go directly into class budgets, allowing pupils to contribute meaningfully to decisions about how funds are used—whether for new learning resources, educational trips, or enriching classroom experiences.
We’re thrilled to share that, since the shop’s launch, our classes have raised an impressive amount for their budgets. We couldn’t be prouder of the initiative, effort, and enthusiasm our students have shown throughout this project.
