Welcome Back!
We hope all staff, parents and pupils had a restful and enjoyable February half-term break. After a busy and productive start to the year, it was well deserved, and we trust it provided valuable time to recharge, spend quality moments with family and friends and take a pause before the next chapter of the term begins.
As we return to school, we look forward to another exciting and purposeful half term ahead. There is much to look forward to and we are confident it will be filled with continued progress, enriching experiences and shared achievements. Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community.
A Valentines Disco!
A heartfelt thank you to Jade and Hayley (two of our Teaching Assistants) for organising such a fantastic Valentine’s Disco for our students on the last week of term. Their energy, creativity and careful planning made the event a wonderful celebration for our students.
It was especially lovely to see all pathways come together, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where everyone could connect, celebrate, and enjoy the occasion. Events like this truly strengthen our school community, and we are so grateful for the time and dedication that made it possible.
Safeguarding Audit
Our recent Safeguarding Audit was an outstanding success. During the meeting, they highlighted that our pupils are exceptionally well cared for, noting that even against the core OFSTED safeguarding criteria, we have confidently met the expected standards. This is a testament to the vigilance, commitment and care demonstrated daily by our entire team.
Evidence for Learning (EfL)
We are delighted to share that in the week before half term, a total of 297 pieces of evidence for learning were recorded across home and school. This reflects a truly collaborative approach and highlights the consistency of learning taking place in all environments.
Such a figure represents a continued outstanding effort from staff, pupils, and families alike. The dedication to capturing and celebrating progress so thoroughly is a powerful demonstration of our shared commitment to every child’s learning journey.
New Staff Members
We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to our new team members, Laura and Leanne, who join us as Teaching Assistants.
We are very pleased to have them on board and look forward to the skills, experience and enthusiasm they will bring to their roles, supporting our pupils’ learning and development. We are confident they will be a fantastic addition to the team and wish them every success as they settle into our school community.
