Speech & Language Therapist (SALT) Feedback
We were delighted to receive fantastic feedback from Dawn, our visiting Speech and Language Therapist, following her visit last week. She not only praised the high-quality SaLT support being delivered to our pupils but also highlighted the exceptional standard of our multi-agency working. Dawn commented that she had never experienced a meeting quite like ours, with a wide range of specialist doctors and professionals in attendance — a true reflection of the strength and quality of our Special Educational Needs provision.
Attendance Update
Attendance this week reached a superb 90.4%, which is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the commitment shown by both pupils and families. Strong attendance plays a vital role in ensuring pupils can fully access learning opportunities, build routines and make continued progress, so it’s great to see such a positive figure. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing efforts in supporting good attendance — let’s keep up this momentum and continue working together to aim even higher in the weeks ahead.
Staff Shout Outs!
A huge thank you to:

Your teamwork and dedication do not go unnoticed — thank you!
Evidence for Learning (EfL) Update:
A strong start this week with 241 EfL entries, with an impressive 90% shared with parents. Many entries focused on communication and interaction, which is fantastic to see.
With the pool now open, we will continue to build on this success by capturing learning in aquatic sessions and rebound activities over the coming week.

Coming next week:
There’s plenty to look forward to next week as we continue another busy and exciting period in school. We will be holding our Teaching Assistant Level 3 interviews, welcoming candidates as we strengthen our team, while choir practice will also be restarting, giving pupils the opportunity to come together and enjoy making music again. We will also be marking World Earth Day, with activities planned to help raise awareness and encourage pupils to think about how they can care for the environment. Alongside all of this, there will be many more engaging learning opportunities taking place across the school.
