Bingo Evening! – 22/09/2025

Parental Feedback

At Bleasdale, we deeply appreciate and celebrate the feedback we receive from our parents. It’s wonderful to see our pupils’ achievements recognised and celebrated at home. Here are just a few of the kind comments we’ve received this week:

Thank you. Pupil has been in a very chatty and playful mood tonight. She has played with my little ponies on her own for a prolonged period of time and even managed a few mins nice play with her sister (very unusual). Thanks for all you must be doing to help her regulate during the day.

That’s amazing, we’re so glad she’s making friends! Thank you so much for all the lovely updates!

Hearing this feedback makes us so proud! We’re thrilled to be able to share these special moments of progress and achievement with our pupils and their families.

Bingo Evening

Last week, Karen (HLTA) hosted a bingo night with the support of Friends of Bleasdale. The room was full of energy, with so many people coming together to support Bleasdale School. A big thank you to the staff who joined in and played bingo!

Class Shoutouts!

A huge commendation to Butterfly Class for their excellent use of predictability and symbols to enhance pupils’ communication.

A huge well done also to Maples Class for consistently reinforcing focus vocabulary with symbols in every session.

Evidence for Learning (EfL)

An incredible 323 entries were made this week! A heartfelt thank you to all our classes and to parents for actively engaging with EfL — your continued support is truly valued and makes a real difference. Each entry helps us capture and celebrate the amazing progress, achievements, and everyday successes of our pupils, building a rich record of their learning journey.

Sing & Sign Choir

Last week marked the launch of our very first Sing & Sign Choir, with four of our pupils proudly taking part. This new initiative combines the joy of music with the power of sign, creating a wonderful opportunity for pupils to express themselves, build confidence, and develop communication in a fun and inclusive way. We are so excited to see the choir grow in the weeks ahead!
