Bleasdale Pupils Take Part in Work Experience
It was fantastic to see our pupils so engaged and enthusiastic as they took part in their work experience. The opportunity has given their learning a real sense of purpose, allowing them to develop new skills and gain valuable experiences. We look forward to seeing their confidence and learning continue to grow as the year progresses.
Roald Dahl Day
Our pupils had a fantastic time celebrating Roald Dahl Day, immersing themselves in the wonderfully imaginative world of one of Britain’s most beloved authors. From exploring his memorable characters and stories to taking part in fun, creative activities, there was plenty of enthusiasm and excitement throughout the day. It was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the joy of reading and let our imaginations run wild!
Mini First Aid
Our pupils had a fantastic and informative session with Mini First Aid Lancashire on Monday, learning valuable first aid skills in a fun and engaging way. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, listening carefully and enjoying the activities.
Andrea, who delivered the session, was full of praise for our pupils, saying: “I just wanted to thank you once again for inviting Mini First Aid Lancashire into your school to meet all your wonderful pupils. They really were amazing; it was so lovely to see everyone engaged and enjoying the session.”
A huge well done to all our pupils for their enthusiasm and excellent participation!
Evidence for Learning (EfL)
What a fantastic first full week back! Our Evidence for Learning platform is already showcasing an amazing array of pupil achievements and learning from across a wide range of curriculum areas, with an incredible 299 uploads this week.
It has been brilliant to see such a positive start to the new term, with pupils and staff capturing and celebrating so many wonderful learning moments. A huge well done to everyone involved!
Attendance
A fantastic start to the new term, with our whole-school attendance currently standing at an impressive 91.6%! Thank you to all our pupils and families for supporting excellent attendance and helping ensure our pupils are in school, ready to learn and make the most of every opportunity.
A Visit from PRICE
It was a pleasure to welcome Nick Burnett, Director of PRICE, to school. Nick was incredibly impressed by the outstanding work taking place to support our pupils with relationships and behaviour, and the positive impact this has across our school community.
His visit was a wonderful recognition of the dedication and expertise of our staff, and we were particularly delighted when Nick invited us to join the PRICE Advisory Board. We are incredibly proud to have our work recognised in this way and look forward to contributing to the board and sharing our expertise with others.
