Child Safety Week – 03/06/2026

Staffing Update

Following the TA2B interview process, candidates demonstrated a strong range of understanding through an Evidence for Learning (EfL) task, alongside passionate reflections on their commitment to Bleasdale School. It is therefore our pleasure to announce that Zara and Sophie have been successful. Both are already valued members of staff in different roles and we are delighted to see them progress within the school community.

Staff Shout Out

Humour, positivity and smiles play an important role in keeping our school community thriving. Thank you to all staff who continue to bring energy, kindness and good humour to each day.

Evidence for Learning (EfL)

This week saw 312 EfL entries recorded—an excellent achievement. It has been particularly pleasing to see engagement from Otters and Squirrels extending into the wider community, reflecting meaningful and purposeful learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Student Council Ice-Breaker Day

A well done goes to all students who participated in the Student Council ice-breaker day, as well as those classes who represented the school off-site in competitive events. Your conduct, enthusiasm and teamwork both on and off site continue to fly the Bleasdale flag with pride.

Child Safety Week

This week marks Child Safety Week, an annual campaign led by the Child Accident Prevention Trust. The initiative serves as a national focus for encouraging safety conversations and activities across communities, helping children, families and schools to think practically about preventing accidents and staying safe in everyday life.
