Christmas at Bleasdale: A School Sparkling with Magic! – 02/12/2025

Winter Wonderland

What an incredible day! Our Winter Wonderland event was filled with joy, laughter, and festive fun. Thank you to everyone who attended and to our wonderful team who gave their time so generously.

A special thank you to Father Christmas, who had everyone in stitches!

The money raised this year was amazing, and we’ll be sharing the final total very soon. Thank you for helping make this year’s event so special.

Christmas at Bleasdale: A School Sparkling with Seasonal Magic

With just three weeks to go until the big day, Christmas has truly arrived at Bleasdale. The hallways, classrooms and especially the windows are beginning to shimmer with festive colour and creativity—each display a reminder of the joy this season brings to our pupils.

A huge thank you goes out to every member of staff who has contributed that extra touch of Christmas magic. Your effort, imagination, and heart make a real difference. For many of our pupils, the experiences created within school may be some of the most meaningful festive moments they encounter, and your dedication ensures those moments are full of warmth and wonder.

So, take a moment—look at the windows! They are shining examples of what our community can create together.

Christmas at Bleasdale is well and truly underway, and it’s already something special.

Welcoming New Pupils: Going Above and Beyond

At Bleasdale, the transition of new pupils into our school community is handled with exceptional care—and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in this vital work. This week, we welcomed some amazing new pupils.

Supporting new pupils as they take their first steps into a new environment requires patience, empathy, and dedication. Whether it’s preparing learning spaces, meeting families, building trust, or creating a sense of safety and belonging, your efforts make all the difference.

Because of our amazing staff, pupils arrive feeling supported, understood, and ready to thrive.

Celebrating Creativity and Commitment Across the TO BE Pathway

The TO BE Pathway has been thriving outdoors recently, with pupils and staff fully embracing OPAL-inspired learning—and the results have been wonderful to see. A special celebration goes to our Hedgehogs, who have thrown themselves into outdoor exploration with enthusiasm and joy.

We also want to recognise the incredible dedication of the staff who make this happen every day.

  •  Suzanna—thank you for driving this work forward within TO KNOW.
  • Honey—your creativity continues to shine and inspire.
  • Maples—your care and consistency create a nurturing space for our pupils.
  • Blossoms—your passion is felt in everything you do.
  • And Jo—thank you for simply being the magnificent Jo!

Together, you create experiences that matter. Your energy, imagination, and commitment shape learning in ways that truly enrich our pupils’ school lives.

Thank you for putting your all into this pathway and making it something special.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Generous Parents

We would like to extend a sincere and warm thank you to the many parents who have recently donated money to the school. Your generosity plays a vital role in enriching the experiences we can provide for our pupils.

Every contribution—large or small—makes a meaningful difference. Your support helps us create opportunities, enhance resources, and continue offering the high-quality care and learning that our community values.

Thank you for your kindness, your trust, and your continued commitment to our school.

This week, our Christmas trees and decorations are beginning to sparkle throughout the school, marking the start of the wonderfully exciting Christmas period! The halls are slowly transforming with twinkling lights, colourful ornaments, and festive displays created by our pupils and staff.

Over the coming days, classrooms will be embracing the seasonal spirit with crafts, music, storytelling, and opportunities for our children to explore the magic of this time of year. As always, our focus is on creating joyful, inclusive experiences that bring our school community together.
