Cultural Awareness Week! – 15/07/2024

Cultural Awareness Week!

Last week, Bleasdale School hosted a vibrant and enriching Cultural Awareness Week. Each class embarked on an immersive journey, exploring the rich tapestry of traditions, customs, and histories from cultures across the globe. Students and teachers delved deeply into various cultural practices, engaging in activities that showcased the diversity and beauty of our world. This event not only broadened their global perspectives but also fostered a greater appreciation for the cultural heritage that shapes our shared human experience.

CPDL for Staff

Last week, our dedicated staff at Bleasdale School actively engaged in their routine Continuing Professional Development and Learning (CPDL) sessions. This comprehensive professional growth initiative encompassed a series of meticulously designed training programs, including Team Teach training, HR training, and Governor training (hosted at the Rose School). These sessions reflect our unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the Bleasdale School community.

Pure Trike!

Last week, we were thrilled to receive seven new tricycles for our students. This exciting addition to Bleasdale School provided our students with the opportunity to explore and enjoy the new trikes, fostering both fun and physical activity throughout the school.

Summer Assessments and New IEPs

Summer Assessments are now complete and new Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are being readied for the 2024 September term. An IEP is an individualized plan or program designed for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to describe the provision and adaptations they require to access their learning.
