Easter Bonnet Parade Brings Joy Outdoors! – 13/04/2026

Welcome Back to Bleasdale!

We are delighted to welcome the whole school community back to Bleasdale. There is a real sense of excitement as we begin what promises to be a fantastic summer term. It has been wonderful to see everyone returning with such positivity and enthusiasm.

We are looking forward to a term full of learning, new experiences, and achievements for all our pupils. With so much planned, it is set to be a busy and rewarding few months for the entire school community.

Easter Bonnet Parade Brings Joy Outdoors

It was wonderful to see so many families and pupils enjoying the Easter Bonnet Parade in the garden. The sunny weather made the event even more special, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.

Although there was no music, the natural sound of birdsong added to the experience beautifully. Parents and Governors commented on how much they enjoyed the event and how beneficial it was for wellbeing.

Daisies Class Enjoy Valuable Trip Experience

Daisies class recently took part in an exciting trip towards the end of last term, alongside many other groups who have enjoyed outings in recent weeks. These opportunities allow pupils to explore beyond the classroom and take part in meaningful experiences.

Trips like these are an important part of education, helping pupils connect their learning to the wider world. We encourage continued planning of such experiences to make learning engaging, relevant, and memorable.

Horticulture Success and Community

A big thank you to Karen and everyone who submitted entries for the horticulture show. The effort and creativity shown were fantastic and it was great to see so many pupils getting involved.

Working alongside the local Silverdale community is incredibly important in strengthening our place within the village. It also helps pupils feel proud of their achievements, especially when their work is displayed for others to see.

Strong Attendance and Positive Recognition

Our current attendance stands at 89.1%, which remains above both Lancashire and national averages. This reflects the ongoing commitment of our pupils, families, and staff in supporting regular attendance.

We were also pleased to welcome Mike Aldren, an LCC Consultant, who was impressed by Bleasdale’s relational approach. His visit highlighted the strength of our school community and the positive environment we continue to build together.
