INSET Day – 03/03/2025

INSET Day

Last week, our dedicated teaching staff participated in another enriching INSET (In-Service Training) day—an invaluable opportunity for professional growth and collaboration. INSET days serve as a cornerstone of continuous professional development, enabling educators to refine their skills, explore innovative teaching strategies, and stay abreast of the latest educational research.

During this session, our team engaged in thought-provoking workshops, dynamic discussions, and hands-on activities designed to enhance both teaching practice and student engagement. These dedicated training days not only strengthen our educators’ expertise but also reinforce our shared commitment to delivering the highest standard of education.

Team Teach Training

Last week, our highly skilled staff, trained in delivering Team Teach methodologies, conducted an insightful and impactful training session for colleagues from other schools. This session was designed to equip educators with essential strategies for promoting positive behaviour management, fostering de-escalation techniques, and ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment for all students.

By sharing their expertise, our trainers not only reinforced best practices within our own institution but also contributed to the professional development of educators beyond our school community.

Staff Shoutout

This week, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Esme, one of our exceptional teaching assistants, for her unwavering dedication, hard work, and positive impact on Bleasdale School and its students. Esme’s commitment to supporting both staff and learners has been truly invaluable, and her kindness, patience, and enthusiasm enrich the school community each day.

Team Shoutout

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible site team, who continue to work tirelessly to support the ongoing progress and development of Bleasdale School. Despite operating with a smaller team at the moment, their dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment ensure that our school remains a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for students and staff alike.

From essential maintenance tasks to larger-scale improvements, their hard work behind the scenes plays a crucial role in the smooth running of our school. Their efforts do not go unnoticed, and we deeply appreciate their perseverance and problem-solving spirit in keeping everything running seamlessly.
