In-Class Firework Activities
Last week, in celebration of Fireworks Day, our classroom transformed into a mini festival of colours, sparks, and excitement! We hosted a series of engaging, hands-on activities that brought the magic of fireworks to life—safely and creatively. It was an unforgettable experience that lit up not just our classroom, but our curiosity and imagination as well!
Look to the Future Event
Last week, we hosted our highly anticipated Look to the Future event, where we welcomed a variety of services and agencies to our school to engage parents in exploring future opportunities for their children beyond Bleasdale. It was an inspiring day filled with information, insights, and meaningful connections, all aimed at supporting our students in their next steps.
The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the impact of the event. Unique Kidz, one of our valued partners, shared this wonderful message: “It was lovely to meet you this morning and meet the children; they were all fabulous. Just wanted to reiterate how keen and excited Sally and I are to link up with you.”
Unique Kidz is dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and their families. We encourage you to explore their website the below link to learn more about the inspiring work they do. We look forward to fostering even stronger partnerships to enrich the futures of our students!

Total Communication Assembly
Last week, we had an unforgettable Total Communication Assembly that left everyone buzzing with excitement! The highlight of the event was, without a doubt, the colourful explosion of party poppers, which quickly became the students’ favourite way to celebrate. From start to finish, the energy in the room was electric as we came together to recognize the power of connection and total communication. The students’ smiles and cheers were a testament to the joy and unity we fostered, making it a truly memorable occasion for all involved. We look forward to this week’s assembly!
What’s been going on Around School?
Last week, some members of Squirrels class enjoyed day 1 of their ‘Go Velo’ bike training today. They have learnt how to ride a bike safely and their confidence has grown massively over such a short period of time.
