We’re in the News!
We’re excited to share that our school has been featured in the news following the opening of our brand-new sensory suite.
The new facility has been specially designed to support our pupils, providing a calming and engaging environment that helps meet a wide range of sensory needs. This is an important step forward in ensuring every child can learn, grow and thrive in a space tailored to them.
The opening of the sensory suite has already made a positive impact, and we’re proud to see this achievement recognised beyond our school community.

Looking Funny for Money! (Red Nose Day)
There were lots of laughs around school last week as staff and pupils took part in our “Looking Funny for Money” day!
Staff went all out with their creative costumes – from Robbie’s glasses (which looked surprisingly real!) to Lois’ bright blue hair and Daniella’s very funny take on Lois. Jade and the team also joined in the fun by dressing up as their pupils, which brought plenty of smiles. A special mention goes to everyone who added a splash of red to their outfits!
Our pupils also made a fantastic effort, with so many amazing and imaginative costumes on display.
To top it all off, the cake sale was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who contributed cakes and supported the event – it was a wonderful way to raise money and bring the whole school together.
Governors Meeting
Our governors continue to be incredibly impressed by the hard work and dedication shown across the school during our second year of expansion.
During their visit last week, governors received detailed updates on key areas including fire evacuation procedures, lockdown protocols, and school finances. They engaged thoughtfully throughout, asking a wide range of questions and sharing insights that help to challenge and further develop our staff’s thinking.
We are grateful for their ongoing support and commitment to ensuring the very best for our school community.
Attendance Update
Attendance last week was 89.6% – well done everyone!
As we approach the final week before half term, it’s important that we keep this momentum going. Every day in school makes a difference, so let’s continue to aim high and finish the term strong.
Thank you for your continued support in helping improve attendance across the school.
Staffing News
Last week, we held interviews for a class teacher position, and we are delighted to share that Laura, our current temporary teacher, was successful in securing the role.
Congratulations to Laura on this well-deserved achievement! We are very pleased that she will continue to be part of our school team and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to have on our pupils.
Evidence for Learning (EfL)
This week, we recorded 214 EfL entries – a fantastic achievement!
It is brilliant to see staff continuing to focus on high-quality Evidence for Learning and taking the time to share this with parents and guardians. This helps to build a strong connection between school and home, supporting our pupils’ progress.
A big thank you also to parents and guardians who have taken the time to respond and share back – your engagement makes a real difference.
