Macmillan Coffee Morning
Last week, we were delighted to welcome members of our local community into school for our Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to support such an important cause while enjoying a chat, refreshments and the opportunity to spend time with our school community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make a real difference.
Evidence for Learning Update
Our pupils continue to achieve fantastic things across school, with an impressive 38 Evidence for Learning (EFL) entries recorded last week.
These entries showcase the wide range of experiences, achievements and progress being made across the curriculum and celebrate the hard work of our pupils and staff.
We look forward to sharing more of these special moments in the weeks ahead.
Behaviour and Communication Spotlight
A huge well done to Daisies Class for their excellent work in supporting pupils to understand and manage an unpredictable event. Using their red and green board, songs and symbols, they successfully made the recent fire alarm predictable and accessible for pupils. You can see more of their fantastic work in this week’s Party Bag.
Meanwhile, Acorns Class continue to demonstrate great consistency with their communication strategies, singing their transition song all the way to the swimming pool to support a positive and successful transition experience for pupils.
Well done to both classes for their fantastic approach to communication and supporting pupil wellbeing!
Attendance This Week
Our whole-school attendance for this week was 89.8%.
Thank you to all families for your continued support in helping pupils attend school regularly. Every day in school provides valuable opportunities for learning, social development and memorable experiences. Let’s continue working together to achieve the best possible attendance for all our pupils.
