School Meals

Here at Bleasdale School, we embrace the philosophy that fresh is best when it comes to school meals! We take pride in preparing all our school meals fresh on-site, using only the finest ingredients to ensure our pupils enjoy nutritious and delicious meals every day.

Below, you will find a link to view our current menu options for your child. For any questions regarding menu selections or dietary requirements, please feel free to speak with your child’s class teacher.

Pupil Lunch Menu

Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

– Universal Credit with a household income of less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
– Income-Based Jobseekers’ Allowance
– Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance
– Child Tax Credit, not entitled to Working Tax Credit and household income less than £16,190
– Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
– Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
– Income Support
– Working Tax Credit ‘run on’ – the payment you receive for a further four weeks after you finish work

Pupils in Years 1 and 2 are eligible for free school meals, regardless of their parents’ eligibility status. Parents do not need to meet the criteria mentioned above for their child to benefit from this provision, however, it is essential for parents to inform us if they wish for their child to receive these meals, as the provision will only be made upon request.
