Look to the Future Events
From the moment your child joins Bleasdale School, we work in partnership with you to plan for the future—whether that is next week, next month or the years ahead.
Each year, we host our “Look to the Future” Event, bringing together a wide range of organisations to support families. This includes providers of leisure activities, support services, post-16 education placements, care providers and NHS teams. The event is open to all families, and we warmly encourage you to attend.

In Years 7, 9 and year 11 pupils complete a Future Skills Questionnaire, which helps us understand their interests, strengths and aspirations. This information is used to guide work experience opportunities and shape the providers we invite to our annual event.
From Year 9 onwards, each pupil will have a bespoke transition plan, which is reviewed and recorded as part of their EHCP review. We will work closely with you and your child to ensure that their aspirations become achievable outcomes, supporting a smooth and successful transition when they leave Bleasdale School.
