Parental Feedback
At Bleasdale, we truly value and celebrate the feedback we receive from our parents. It means so much to see how our pupils’ achievements are recognised at home. Here are just a couple of the lovely comments we received this week:
“Wow. I am literally smiling reading this. This is amazing and such a positive step for [child’s name].”
“Yes, I’ve just seen it – that’s great! It’s wonderful to see she’s engaging in activities, and we love being able to see how she’s doing.”
Hearing these words fills us with pride. We couldn’t be more delighted to share in these wonderful moments of progress and achievement with our pupils and families.
Roald Dahl Day
Last week was Roald Dahl Day – a huge round of applause to everyone who took part, both students and staff. The creativity and effort that went into the costumes were incredible, with so many fantastic characters brought to life. A special mention goes to the brave individual who came as a cow – what a brilliant surprise and a true crowd favourite!
The day was filled with colour, laughter, and imagination, reminding us of the magic that Roald Dahl’s stories bring. From Matilda to The BFG, and everything in between, it was wonderful to see our school community celebrating a love of reading in such a fun and memorable way.
Staff Shout-outs
A big thank you to the Blossoms Class team for going above and beyond to support a pupil who just wasn’t ready to head home. Your patience and dedication truly made a difference.
To Otters Class team for pulling together with such teamwork and positivity to make things work – a shining example of collaboration in action.
And of course, to Josh – for simply being Josh! Your energy, presence, and spirit never go unnoticed.
Esme is recognised for her radical condor in shepherding. Your honesty, communication, and commitment to growth are deeply valued.
Finally, to all classes for embracing predictability songs to move between spaces – what a fantastic way to make transitions smoother and more joyful for everyone.

Our New Pupils
Our new pupils have been settling into life at Bleasdale wonderfully. It has been a joy to see them exploring the school, growing in confidence, and already beginning to transition into resource rooms. Even more inspiring is watching them engage with and take part in sessions within those spaces – such a fantastic start to their journey with us!
Evidence for Learning (EfL)
We’re really gathering momentum now! This week alone, 279,186 observations were shared with families, showcasing the incredible progress and achievements of our pupils.
Seedlings parents have given us some fantastic feedback, with 16 responses celebrating the amazing levels of engagement they’ve seen.
