Parental Feedback

At Bleasdale, we are truly grateful for the thoughtful feedback we receive from our parents. Nothing means more to us than knowing our pupils’ efforts and successes are recognised and celebrated at home as well as in school. This week, we’ve been especially touched by the kind words shared with us—here are just a few highlights:

“I am so happy to see him laugh and excited”

“Lovely to see her playing alongside friends too”.

“This is really beautiful to see I’m so pleased and forming bonds with the team members well done.”.

“I have noticed he’s doing very well and with engaging with new pupils and is becoming a lot more affectionate honestly was the best choice for X to start Bleasdale he’s coming along so well already, and he loves every minute of school “.

“PE never looked so fun!! Well done, can I join class please?”

“X is loving being part of the Bleasdale family, He is now in a setting where he can thrive – he is excited to come to school.”

Bleasdale Brews Customer Feedback

At Bleasdale School, once per week, we hold a coffee morning which is run by our older pupils. The morning consists of our pupils interacting with the community and also preparing food and drinks for them and also handling cash.

Below is some fantastic feedback we received from a Customer last week:

“What a lovely opportunity for the pupils. A fantastic idea and she can see how much the pupils get out of it. “

Evidence for Learning (EfL) Update

Last week, we were thrilled to receive an incredible 305 entries to EfL! Among these were 25 reading entries celebrating our pupils’ progress, and it was fantastic to see so many new parents getting involved.

Your contributions make EfL such a success—by sharing and celebrating learning from home, you help us highlight the amazing achievements of our pupils. Thank you for your continued support, and please keep engaging with us—we can’t wait to see what this week brings!

Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Review Meetings Begin!

Last week, we began our first EHCP review meetings of this academic year. EHCP reviews are a valuable opportunity to reflect on each pupil’s progress, celebrate their achievements, and ensure that the right support is in place to help them thrive.

These meetings also give parents and carers the chance to share their insights and work in partnership with us, so that every child’s voice and aspirations are at the heart of their plan. We are grateful to everyone who has taken part so far and look forward to continuing these meaningful conversations throughout the term.

School Photographs

Last week, our pupils had their formal photographs taken, capturing special memories of this school year. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished results and sharing the photo proofs with families very soon!

These photographs are always a wonderful keepsake, marking not just how much our pupils have grown, but also celebrating their time at school. We hope families will enjoy looking back on these snapshots in years to come.

Thank you to everyone who helped the sessions run so smoothly, and to our pupils for their bright smiles throughout the day!

Flu Vaccinations

Well done to all our pupils who received their flu vaccine. The visiting nurses once again praised our school, describing it as “a welcoming, brilliant, and inspiring place to visit.”

We are so proud of the way our pupils approached the day with confidence and maturity. Taking part in the vaccination programme helps to keep not only themselves healthy, but also their friends, families, and wider community safe during the winter season.

A big thank you to the nursing team for their care and professionalism, and to our staff for supporting the smooth running of the sessions.
