Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a new term at school! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful and refreshing summer.

There’s lots to look forward to this week, with plenty of opportunities for learning, creativity and making great memories together. Thank you to our pupils, families and staff for the continued enthusiasm and support that make our school community so special.

Let’s make it another fantastic term full of curiosity, kindness and success. We’re so glad to have everyone back!

Important to Me Bags Updated

We’re pleased to share that our Important to Me Bags have been updated!

These personalised bags are designed to support pupils who may benefit from having familiar, comforting items close by during activities or situations that can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming.

Each bag contains carefully selected items that are familiar and meaningful to the individual pupil, alongside their relevant care plan(s), helping staff to provide consistent, personalised support when it is needed.

For example, during events such as fire drills, the bags can help pupils feel more secure, regulated and ready to participate safely, while ensuring that staff have the information, they need to support them effectively.

New Staff!

We’re delighted to welcome Jess and Emily, who have joined us as Teaching Assistants, and Mike, who has joined us as a Class Teacher.

We’re so pleased to have them as part of our school community and look forward to all they will bring to our pupils, staff and wider school family.

Welcome to the team, Jess, Emily and Mike!

A Huge Well Done to our Summer Club Team!

We want to give a special round of applause for everything the team has achieved this summer, including going that extra week and always going the extra mile for our pupils and families.

It’s this commitment, dedication and willingness to do more that truly reflects what Bleasdale is all about.

We’re incredibly proud of the Summer Club team and everything they have accomplished.

Attendance Update

We’re delighted to share that our attendance for week one is an impressive 91.9%.

A huge well done and thank you to all our parents and carers for supporting your children to attend school and start the new term positively. Your support makes such a difference.

If you are experiencing any difficulties with attendance or feel that you or your child would benefit from some additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact the school. We’re always here to help.

Congratulations to Molly!

A huge congratulations to Molly, who has successfully completed her NPQ in Behaviour and Culture.

We know just how hard you have worked to achieve this, and we couldn’t be prouder of your dedication, commitment and perseverance.

Well done, Molly! We’re excited to see what comes next and all that you will continue to achieve.
