About the Role and our School
Are you looking for more than just a maintenance job? Do you take pride in creating safe, welcoming and high-quality environments where others can thrive? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
At Bleasdale School, our Site Manager plays a vital role in supporting some of Lancashire’s most remarkable children and young people. Every improvement you make, every project you oversee and every problem you solve directly contributes to creating an environment where pupils can learn, develop independence and achieve their full potential. The role includes leading the site team, overseeing health and safety, managing contractors, driving site improvements and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school premises.
What makes this opportunity particularly special is the place you’ll be doing it.
Set within the stunning surroundings of Silverdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bleasdale School is an Outstanding specialist school serving children and young people aged 2 to 19. The school benefits from unique facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy provision, specialist learning spaces and beautiful grounds that make it unlike any ordinary workplace.
More importantly, it’s a genuinely lovely place to work.
At Bleasdale you’ll quickly notice something different. People enjoy working here. Staff look out for one another, celebrate successes together and share a common purpose. Visitors often comment on the warm atmosphere around the school, and many staff stay with us for years because they feel valued, trusted and supported to do their best work. There is a real sense of belonging and a feeling that everyone, regardless of role, plays an important part in the success of our pupils. The school has a strong coaching culture and places significant emphasis on helping staff grow and develop.
This is a role where you’ll have genuine ownership and influence. As a member of the school management team, you’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas, shape future developments and make lasting improvements to the school environment. You’ll have the freedom to identify opportunities, solve problems and make decisions that have a visible impact across the whole school.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, leading others and finding practical solutions. In return, you’ll join a school community that appreciates hard work, trusts your expertise and recognises the difference you make.
If you’re someone who likes to leave things better than you found them, takes pride in maintaining high standards and wants a role where your work genuinely matters, we’d love to hear from you.
Come and be part of something special. Help us create an outstanding environment for an outstanding school, while enjoying a workplace where you’ll feel welcomed, respected and valued from day one.
WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT C.Vs FOR THIS POST.
