Full Governor Meeting

Last week we had the last full-Governor meeting of the year. During these meetings, Governors engage in thoughtful discussions, deliberate on pressing issues, and set strategic priorities that shape the direction of our school. Through open dialogue and shared insights, we aim to foster a collective vision that not only addresses current challenges but also positions us for sustainable growth and success in the coming year.

Class Teacher and Lead Learning Practitioner Interviews

As Bleasdale continues to flourish, our commitment to supporting this growth is reflected in the expansion of our team. Last week marked a significant step forward as we conducted interviews for both Class Teachers and a Lead Learning Practitioner—roles essential to maintaining the high standards of education and care our school is known for. These positions are not just about filling vacancies; they represent an investment in talent and innovation that will enrich our school community, inspire our students, and strengthen the collaborative spirit among our staff. We are excited about welcoming new team members who share our vision and dedication to excellence.

A Visit from the Health & Safety Department at LCC

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a visit from the Health and Safety Department of Lancashire County Council (LCC). This visit underscored our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for everyone within our school community. The LCC team conducted a thorough review, offering valuable insights and recommendations to ensure that our practices align with the highest standards of safety and compliance. Their guidance serves as a foundation for continuous improvement, reinforcing our dedication to fostering a space where students and staff alike can thrive with confidence and peace of mind.

Our Grand Booths Shop Opening and Winter Wonderland

Last week marked a momentous occasion with the grand opening of our Booths shop, perfectly complemented by a magical Winter Wonderland Day. This highly anticipated event brought our community together in celebration, creating an atmosphere brimming with joy, excitement, and seasonal cheer. The Booths shop opening signifies not only a new chapter for our school but also a partnership that enhances our community spirit. The Winter Wonderland added an enchanting touch, with festive activities, captivating displays, and shared moments of connection that will be fondly remembered. Together, these events highlighted the vibrant energy and collaborative ethos that define our school community.
