A Bleasdale Booths Shop Update!

As our Bleasdale Booths shop continues to welcome customers, we’re always exploring new ways to connect with our community and increase footfall. We’re excited to share that we are now collecting used stamps, glasses, and ink cartridges in-store. All proceeds from these donations will go directly to support charities. Thank you for helping us give back!

Teacher Continuing Professional Development and Learning (CPDL)

Each week, our dedicated teachers come together for Continuing Professional Development and Learning (CPDL), fostering a culture of collaboration, reflection and growth. These sessions provide valuable opportunities to share best practices, explore innovative teaching strategies and stay at the forefront of educational excellence, all with the goal of enhancing student outcomes and enriching the learning experience across our school community.

Evidence for Learning (EfL)

Last week, our wonderful staff uploaded an outstanding 150 pieces of evidence to the Evidence for Learning app, capturing the incredible progress and daily achievements of our pupils. These updates offer families a special glimpse into life at school and the learning taking place each day.

We love to see families get involved too! You can share what your child is learning at home by uploading observations to the app or by speaking with their class teacher. Your input helps us create a fuller picture of each child’s journey.

Thank you to our fantastic team and our ever-supportive families!

Green Mental Health Walk

Last week, we proudly observed World Mental Health Week. In recognition of World Mental Health Day, our staff and students came together in solidarity by wearing green — the international colour for mental health awareness.

To further promote mindfulness and well-being, we held a Green Mental Health Walk in our garden from 9:00 to 9:30 AM. It was a peaceful and reflective stroll, providing everyone with a moment to connect with nature, decompress, and show support for the importance of mental health.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped shine a light on this vital cause.

A Visit from the National Autistic Society (NAS)

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Stephen from the National Autistic Society (NAS) to our school. Stephen shared that he is already impressed by Bleasdale!

His feedback is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the supportive culture we’ve built together. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with NAS as we strive to further enhance our provision and ensure every pupil thrives.

Celebration Assembly

Each week at Bleasdale, we come together for a special celebration assembly to recognise achievements and milestones. Below, you can view the PowerPoint presentation from this uplifting gathering from last week!
